ABOUT︎

Sarina Freda is best described as ‘User Friendly.’ She’s originally from (right outside) LA, and is currently living in Brooklyn, New York.

Together, she and Tom Costello created a one-woman show: no no no please no god no, nevermind i’m fine which debuted at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2024 and ran at HERE Arts in spring 2025. The show received much acclaim and all their press can be found on this site.

But if she had to choose, Lobster by Kallan Dana + dir. by Hanna Yurfest, is her favorite. It was also one of The New Yorker’s and NY Magazine’s Top 10 plays of 2025.

Sarina has worked on a number of short films and new plays with Seaview, Clubbed Thumb, Page 73, The Playwrights Realm, and more.

She is a member of The What Co. Theatre Company, and she is a graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts

The late Diane Ladd closely mentored Sarina, and their bond was one of the most important aspects of Sarina’s artistry.

She loves to swim. She loves to dance. She has plans to buy a house in Italy for a single euro. And her passion project is finding inner peace.
